The Castillo de San Marcos National Monument is the oldest western built structure still standing in America. This old, but beautiful fort resides in St. Augustine, FL. My family and I love visiting St. Augustine, FL and I really love spending time at this fort. The fort has a direct view of the bay and is a prime spot to shoot sunrises. I really enjoyed photographing this place at night as well, but be warned it can get a little eerie. If you ever get a chance to watch the 4th of July celebration here, I highly recommend it. The fireworks are incredible!
